Dear Neighbor,

The Alamo Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the growth of existing retail, commercial and professional businesses in the Alamo area. Our Board of Directors and members represent the heart of the Alamo business community. We support our public services, community projects, and provide jobs. We are proud to be business people, neighbors, friends, and business colleagues who live and work in this unique and vibrant community.

As we begin the New Year, we would like to introduce a program that will support business growth and attract new businesses to our community. It is a “Shop Local” campaign – and to be successful we need your help. And, it’s very easy to help! Before you leave Alamo to shop, look around; identify a local merchant that can meet your shopping needs. Don’t buy on line until you have shopped the local businesses.

If just 100 people spent an additional $100 each month in Alamo during 2012, they would add $120,000 worth of business to the Alamo area this year!

Please make a New Year’s resolution to support your local merchants! Shop local and support the businessest that support Alamo!
